In many Shabads (words) Guru Ji has advised to worship
or recite/chant Vishnu name. It is worth to mention that we do
not need special preparation or location to recite/chant Vishnu
name. It can be any times at any location & condition. That is
reason that our elders will recite/chant Vishnu name during,
pray, during havan, before going to bed, at the time of getting
up, before eating, after eating, before starting journey, at the
time of starting new work, at completion of work, when meeting
people (they say navan pranam-vishnu ne jambho ji ne), during
bathing, even during normal body actions like sneezing,
belching, yawning etc.
In addition to normal pray time, we can recite OM VISHNU
OM VISHNU any time e.g. as above , during meditation, while
relaxing, while waiting, while driving or struck in traffic,
during walking or jogging, during travelling, attending any
religious rituals/functions, when in any temple etc.
If we are not at home or in temple during pray time, we
can pray anywhere & anytime to compensate.
Many of other Gurus of other communities or faiths have
advised importance of chanting/reciting God’s name.
OM VISHNU
