25. “TAMAKHU SU DUR HI BHAGE” Don’t smoke/consume tobacco & its products.
Use of tobacco and its by-products are prohibited by Guru Ji. Even donkeys don’t eat tobacco plant (green or dry) but human have started its consumption in many forms e.g. smoking cigarette/bidi/hukka/sigar, chewing paan/gutka, keeping behind lips (zarda) etc. This is a symbol of weakness and poor will power. Tobacco in any form is very harmful for body & mind. People who smoke or consume tobacco in other forms get dangerous diseases e.g. mouth cancer, lung disease, high blood pressure, heart attack, asthma etc. Even manufacturer of cigarette write warning on the packets that it is dangerous for health. Smoking is prohibited by some government authorities in public areas. But still consumption of tobacco is increasing. Youngsters start smoking with friends as a taste, time pass, mood fresher and fashion but later on it becomes an addiction. People who do not smoke or consume tobacco do not like their tobacco consuming friends or family members.
26. “BHANG SU DUR HI BHAGE” Don’t consume or deal in narcotics/cannabis.
Bhang is also a very dangerous & addictive drug, therefore prohibited by Guru ji. Some people mix the Bhang leaves with Pakodas or cold drink during some festivals which is wrong. Some people claiming disciples of God Shiva also consume Bhang. After eating or drinking Bhang the person can not make difference between good and bad.
27. “MADH SU DUR HI BHAGE” Don’t drink or deal in alcohol/liquor.
Drinking Alcohol is a bad habit and prohibited by Guru Ji . Alcohol gives momentary excitement but then it becomes an addiction. After drinking too much liquor one looses his power of thinking and get involves in bad works. He starts quarrelling and saying wrong words to his friends or family members. Some addicted people spend their earning in liquor and spoil their family life. Alcohol is harmful for health and main reason of liver & heart diseases.
