10.“EKSHMA HIRDE DHARO” Practise forgiveness/pardon/absolution.
We should be forgiving in our nature.
Forgiveness is a symbol of greatness. If some one realises his
mistake and apologise from his heart then we should
forgive/pardon him. The quality of forgiveness helps to end
enmity, revenge, anger, bad intension and increase self respect,
peace of mind.
Forgiveness has more effect than punishment.
Forgiveness encourages the person to realise his mistake and not
to repeat whereas punishment makes the person stubborn,
defensive or guilty.
Guru ji said in a shabad, “JE KOI AVE HO HO
KARTE, PANI HUY JAYEO” means if some come to you very angry, you
should be cool like water then that person also will become
cool.
11. “DYA HIRDE DHARO” Be
compassionate/kind/merciful/sympathetic from heart.
We should be compassionate & kind towards all human
being and living beings and help them when they are helpless,
needy or in pain.
Tulsi ji also said, “DAYA DHARAM KA MOOL HAI, PAP MOOL
ABHIMAN; TULSI DAYA NA CHHORIY JAB LAG GHAT ME PRAN” means
compassion/kindness is a root of the religion, but ego/pride is
root of sin. We should be compassionate till last breathe.
We will be compassionate/kind when our heart is pure and
we care & love all and then feeling of love and welfare will
spread.
Killing animals or human, terrorism, intolerance, gap
between rich & poor, sufferings etc. are result of not being
compassionate.
12. “CHORI BARJIO” Stealing or using
other’s thing without permission is prohibited.
Stealing or using others belongings by cheating or
snatching forcefully is called CHORI.
Stealing is prohibited in all religions & faiths and is
considered against God’s wish.
Accepting bribe or misusing authority & funds also comes
under CHORI.
Instead of stealing we should achieve the result with
our hard work and rightful acts.
Corruption spoils social, political and religious
structure of any society, community and country.
